Pre-Registration

What is Pre-Registration?

During the time that Pre-Registration is open for a particular class, the information requested on this page must be completed and sent.  Within a day or two, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from: fasafety@yahoo.com which will either indicate you are listed to attend Registration Night, or that the class is full.  This confirmation e-mail will contain further information for who must attend Registration, and the time it will occur.

We do this so a parent does not have to stand in line, hoping to get their child signed up for a class; our method confirms as long as Registration is completed, the student is in the class.

2024 Class Schedule.

The 2024 class schedule will be announced in early 2024.  We are not accepting pre-registration at this time.

Information about general registration requirements.

A student must be 11 years old on or before the start of the classroom instruction.

A student does not need to reside in Minnesota to take this class.

DNR Firearms Certification is required of anyone born after December 31, 1979 to purchase a hunting license in Minnesota. Check requirements in other states.
